Privacy, in plain words.

This site is for booking family stays with STAY ARI (Haru Corporation, Sophia M 7F, 2-10 Sumiyoshi-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). SelectBNBs builds and runs it for STAY ARI.

If you ask for the discount

We save your email, the language you chose, when you signed up and what you agreed to. We also note what your browser sends: your IP address (which also gives a rough city and country), your browser language and device, and the link or campaign that brought you here. STAY ARI sees this on a private dashboard, with your email partly hidden. Emails come from STAY ARI only, each with an unsubscribe link. We keep your sign-up until you ask us to delete it.

Measuring the site

We count simple things, without cookies: page visits, language choices, discount-button and form use, map taps, and clicks through to Booking.com, Agoda or Airbnb. Never your email. Like most websites, our server also keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, page and time) to keep the site secure and working.

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

These load only if you tap Accept. They are STAY ARI’s own accounts, kept separate from SelectBNBs’ analytics and marketing. Clarity can replay how the page was used but hides what you type into the form. If you say no, everything still works.

Who else sees it

Only the services that run the site and send emails, some of them based outside Japan. We never sell your details. If you unsubscribe, we keep a note so you aren’t emailed again.

Links to booking sites

Our booking buttons take you to Booking.com, Agoda and Airbnb. The Booking.com and Agoda buttons are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a small referral commission at no extra cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies, so please review them when you book.

Your choices

Change your analytics choice any time under Analytics settings, or write to hi@stayaritokyo.com to see or delete your details.
