Who we are and these terms

This site is for booking family stays with STAY ARI, which is operated by 株式会社Haru (Haru Corporation, Sophia M 7F, 2-10 Sumiyoshi-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). SelectBNBs builds and runs the site for STAY ARI. “We” and “us” mean STAY ARI; “you” means anyone using the site. By using the site you accept these terms and our privacy page. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.

Bookings are made on other platforms

This site takes no bookings, payments or deposits. Our booking buttons take you to Booking.com, Agoda or Airbnb. The platform’s terms say who your contract is with and what its role is. Its terms, prices, fees, taxes, cancellation and refund policies apply, together with our house rules. Prices and availability are set and confirmed only there; please check them, and the listing details, before you pay.

Our activity cards open Klook, a separate marketplace with its own terms. Tours and activities are run by independent operators.

How the site earns

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you book through one of them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate disclosure names them.

The discount list

If you ask for the discount, we send it by email, with occasional offers from STAY ARI. Each email has an unsubscribe link. Any terms that come with an offer apply to that offer, and asking for it is not a reservation.

Photos and details

Apartment details, prices and availability can change. The listing on the site you book with is the final word.

Using the site

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, no spam through our forms, and no copying it in bulk to republish.

Our content

The STAY ARI name, logo, photos and text on this site belong to us or our licensors. Please don’t copy or reuse them without written permission, except to share a link or a short quote with credit.

Disclaimers and liability

We work to keep the site accurate, but it is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for the booking platforms, tour operators or other sites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded by contract.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. This does not take away any protection that the consumer law of your home country gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court will hear the dispute in the first instance. This does not limit any right you have under consumer law to bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
